Enjoy your garden after dark with outdoor lighting installation in Oxford. We fit wall lights, path lights, deck lights and garden circuits with weatherproof fittings.
Low level lights along paths and steps help everyone see where they are walking at night. Wall lights by doors and patios make outdoor seating usable on long summer evenings. We place lights to light the ground clearly without glaring into eyes or windows.
More Information
Outdoor circuits need RCD protection and cable that can cope with damp and digging. We use armoured or ducted cable, buried at a safe depth or fixed securely along walls, and fittings with a suitable IP rating. That keeps the system safe for years, through rain and frost.
Uplighting a tree, a feature wall or a water feature can turn a garden into something you enjoy from indoors too. We fit spike lights, recessed deck lights and low voltage systems, with timers, switches or smart controls so they come on when you want.

Yes. Outdoor lights can run from a timer, a photocell that switches them on at dusk, or a smart switch you control from your phone. Many people use a mix, with path lights on a dusk sensor and patio lights on a separate switch. We set it up to suit the way you use the garden.
Yes. Cable buried in the ground should be armoured or run in protective duct at a safe depth, so a spade or fork cannot damage it. Cable fixed to walls needs to be suitable for outdoor use. Every outdoor circuit should also have RCD protection to keep people safe.
Any time of year works, but it is easiest when beds and lawns are being redone, so cables can be laid before planting or paving. If you are having landscaping done, get us involved early. We can lay ducting first and come back to fit the lights at the end.
